For centuries herbal baths have been used for therapeutic or beauty purposes. The Egyptians made good use of a therapeutic herbal bath. Cleopatra is said to have bathed in milk and the flowers from herbs to keep her skin smooth and moist. One bathing method that is quickly gaining popularity is a natural, aromatic herbal bath. By embellishing your bath and body with natural botanical products you can benefit from a truly unique and relaxing bathing experience. Bath salts are mineral salts that are rich in magnesium, potassium, calcium and sodium. These, when used for bath, are absorbed into the skin and make it healthy, detoxify the body, relax pain. The preparation of herbs for the bath is usually a personal choice. Decoct or steeping method is popular as the amount of infusion of the herb added to the bath water may be controlled by the process. Mix equal quantities of herbs of elder root and leaves. Infuse 30 grams of the mix of herbs with a liter of boiling water. Fill a thermos bottle with the tincture and leave it to brew for 2 hours. When herbs are full grown, cut off the purple lavender and put into bunches. Use an elastic at the bottom to hold the lavender together. Tie them with string so bunches are hanging down to dry.

Just place a small handful of your tea mix into the center of the fabric, fold up all of the edges, and secure with string or rubber bands. You can use a pretty ribbon for visual appeal but make sure it does not contain dyes. If you're looking to enjoy a refreshingly energetic morning bath that will awaken your senses, mix mint, rosemary, sage, bits of orange, and time and place them in a cloth sachet. Mix Epsom salts, baking soda and sea salt together in a large bowl. Stir in the Lavender Essential Oil until salt mixture is coated. Let air dry and then pour into a container with lid. Use a 1/4 to 1/2 cup of bath salts under warm running water. For a few fantastic herbal and aromatherapy bath product recipes that you can combine and make at home yourself, keep reading. One of the best hemorrhoids herbal remedies involves making a compress to relieve the burning, swelling, irritation, and the itching associated with this condition. Take the time to enjoy your bath and dip into another world, one of peace and bliss. Your bath is meant to be a pleasure, so relax and enjoy it with all-natural and organic herbal bath and body essentials and get the time for yourself that you deserve.

A decoction is an herbal preparation made by simmering plant material in water until the water is reduced by half. Decoctions are most often made from Hard plant materials like bark, roots and seed. A few inches of fresh ginger will warm the body and soothe joints. Slice, simmer in boiling water for a good half hour. For an aroma therapeutic bath, keep tub water tepid. Hot water will cause those volatile oils to evaporate far too quickly. For centuries, cosmetics were just simple herbal recipes made in the home from garden herbs. Just in the past few decades has the mass-production of cosmetics become an industry. However, do not forget to discard the bag of herbs after your bath. Again, there are various factors that you must keep in mind while using Herbal Teas for your bath.
